My Top 10: Benjamin’s 2019 Year in Review

When Andrew Smith reached out to me at the beginning of this year, I have no idea that my Automotive photography would land me here as a regular contributor. I’ve been able to watch my photography grow. The people I’ve meet this year have become some of my best friends and I’m excited to see where 2020 takes us all! Below is a collection of some of my favorite shots; they may not be my best but they all have a little story behind them all. They are NOT in any specific order!

991.2 GT3 – This one hold a special place in my heart. The car. The color. The Everything. Perfect execution at every point. Personally I’ve wanted one of these for the longest time. This is dedicated to The Dream Car slot.

Tony’s RCSB Silverado – Rolling shots have been one of my main Focus’ for 2019. This week also marks right around the 1 year Anniversary that Tony brought it home! This build is just getting started with much much more to come!

Austin’s Fifth Gen – This car has been shared a few times on the site already! Be on the lookout for a full feature come 2020!

Mitch’s BlobEye – You may have seen the post earlier this month with my Mustang and the Christmas tree on top. My friend Mitch reached out to me after seeing those photos and decided he wanted to get in on the fun too! He swung by with a tree and we made it happen!

Tuner Evo Turbo’d Lamboghini Gallardo Superleggera – This one speaks for itself! Who doesn’t love modified Exotics!!

Ryan’s C6 ZR1 – The car was displayed at the Endless Performance Dyno Day earlier this year! This will surely make another appearance in 2020!

My Christmas Mustang – We’ve all seen this one before. I had to add it to the list because of the unique style of the photo!

@KingOfRollers (Instagram) – I love photos like this! Seeing the owner actually working/cleaning the car makes the photo for me! Event coverage was a big step for me in 2019. I’m looking to cover some events in 2020; if there is a specific event you would like Midwest Automotive to cover, be sure to mention it below!

Austin’s Duramax – Trucks! The second Chevy truck in the list but definitely not the least! Lifted Trucks and Roller’s; not sure there is a better combination!

And the final shot! I’m including another shot of my car in here. I didn’t spend much time shooting my own car this year but I did have a shoot where I got some of my favorite photos ever. I don’t shoot with my 24-70 enough and I think that’s why I love this shot so much!

2019 has been a wild ride for me with regards to Automotive photography. 2020 will be even more crazy! Make sure to let us know what 2019 moments were your favorite and what YOU would like to see come 2020!
