This past weekend one of my good friends, and frequent guest contributor of Midwest Automotive, Brandon invited me to join him for a Porsche exclusive event in Chicago. Checked It Out Chicago is an event where the group closes off a couple streets and sets cars up on display indoors and out. This will mainly be a photo dump with a few words to say about the event and a link to the full resolution images.
This was one of the coolest shows I have been to in a while. The diversity of the type of Porsches was amazing and the turnout was incredible. Everything from Carrera GT’s to 1950’s coupes and brand new all-electric wagons that haven’t been released stateside yet.
Two very different beasts be still undeniably Porsche; incredible to see the difference 10 years can make in the automotive world.
